Hello all, thanks for stopping by...........I am so glad you're here!
Slowly but surely I am filling my new Cutting Cafe shop with lots of stuff that I love (and I think you will to).
Today I added some Hemp #10 Cording. This is my favorite cording to add tags and more to ALL my projects. Mostly I only use the white and natural colors. The weight is perfect for tying a small bow as well.
I have used lots of new goodies from the shop on the XOXO SHAPED SHAKER card below.
I used some of the yummy confetti, natural hemp cording, white gelly pen and clear cardstock.
see video in making this card below:
Here's a screen shot of some of the new goodies in the shop:
Here are the two new hemp cording - we have natural and white in stock.
AND since I want you to see how awesome this stuff really is, how about a

I made a shaker card after watching one of your videos- I gave it to a little girl (4 years old) who loves to "craft" and she thought it was the neatest thing ever!!! It wasn't nearly as beautiful or elaborate as yours but she loved it!
ReplyDeleteAlready a subscriber and am loving your files! :). I have made 1 shaker card before and gave it away already(it was a while ago. I want to start making more, especially after seeing your videos. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win!

ReplyDeletevery cute...thanks!
ReplyDeletethank you!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of goodies you're adding to your shop! I've got to go take a letter look! I have made shaker cards. I tried cutting my own shaker contents for one and that was not a good idea as the pieces still had the tackiness from my Silhouette mat, so they all stuck to each other! I'd love to get yours, ready made. I'm in a blog hop in April all about shakers. I might just incorporate them in one of those projects. Like you, I really enjoy using twine and hemp these days. I have loads of ribbon, but the hemp is just so much easier to work with and so delicate looking...like the sweet little dots you include in many of your projects! Kim
ReplyDeleteyour card is just beautiful! makes me wish (once again!!!) for an electronic cutter so I wouldn't have to cut all of those inside pieces by hand...
ReplyDeleteI enjoy making shaker cards, but don't do them as often as I should. maybe I'll be inspired to do one this weekend!

ReplyDeleteThanks for entering me for the giveaway. I have always wanted to make a shaker card but never have. I have seen many tutorials but yours is the only one that made sense on the directions. Now I'm not so timid to try making my own. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again,

Hope your new shop is doing well! Yes, I make and design shaker cards from printables. The windows are a good way to recycle clear plastic packaging. I try to use whatever small beads, sequins, etc I have in my stash left from other projects. They take a bit more time than regular cards, but aren't hard once you've made your first one. Definitely have that fun, wow, factor when giving them.
